These are the plants on day 22 grown from seed. Mr.Magoo has cut the lights back to 12/12 in hopes of seeing some boys for future breeding but no show yet. Still using seaweed extract but no grow fertilizer just yet. He has started up sizing some very well branched plants (possible girls) to 1 gallon pots. As you can see from the picture these plants have great root systems, that’s very important for cannabis as they get root bound very quickly when entering the growth stage of their life cycle, out from the seedling stage. You want to see nice bright white roots, healthy roots equals healthy plants, healthy plants equals higher yielding plants. Watering only when the medium is very close to being dry. Over watering and under watering can cause problems for your plant. Also if you don’t aerate your medium,you are not doing your plants justice. Always be sure that water flows through your medium fairly quickly (coco is great for this as it pulls outside air down to the roots where it is needed most), once again 1-2″ of river gravel in the bottom of the 1 gallon containers,the rest filled with coco. After transplanting your plant to the new container, water the plant heavy for first time.
